Since opening, CITIZEN has been a popular destination for private events. The location of CITIZEN is quiet yet very central. The menu is diverse and the prices are reasonable. The wine list at CITIZEN consists of wines carefully chosen from around the world. Old world wines from France, Italy, Spain, and Portugal. New world wines from the US, Australia, New Zealand, Chile, South Africa, and Argentina. A full list of cocktails is available. Citizen Cafe & Bar has two floors. The first floor is the bar and lounge area, the second floor is the dining room. Either floor can accommodate groups of 15 to 40, and can be used for meal or cocktail service. The minimum charge is 5000RMB per floor (7000RMB on Friday & Saturday). It includes 4 hours use of the cafe with full service. The menu is a choice of 2 to 3 course meal or a 6 item canapé cocktail party food set. If customers choose to bring their own beverage, the corkage fee for wine is 100RMB per 750ml and 200RMB per 1.5 liter. For beer the fee is 15RMB for small bottles and 30RMB for large bottles.
